Pyrometer CellaCast PX 80

Article description

The CellaCast PX 80 was specially developed for measuring the temperature of liquid metals in the casting channels of blast furnaces and cupola furnaces. Furthermore, the pyrometer is used when transferring the metal from the melting or holding furnace into the transport ladle or casting ladle.

  • wear-free and maintenance-free measuring system for temperature measurement in melting and holding furnaces as well as cupolas and blast furnaces
  • ATD function for filtering the temperature of the slag-free and oxide-free metal surface

Emissivity calculator

The correct emissivity to be set on the pyrometer is calculated from the measured value displayed on the pyrometer, the true object temperature, the emissivity preset on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (necessary for some types).
From the true object temperature, the emissivity of the measurement object, the emissivity set on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (required for types), the measured value calculated by the pyrometer is displayed.
