At KELLER we place our highest priority toward the health of our employees. Apprenticeship as industrial clerk (m/f/d)
The apprenticeship trade:
During your training at KELLER, you will work in our marketing, sales, purchasing, materials management, financial accounting, human resources, service, shipping, job preparation and production control departments. You will be taught knowledge and skills of all commercial areas and departments as well as the processes in production.
The final examination consists of a written and an oral part, for which you must prepare a technical assignment in the last year of training (approx. 6 to 8 months) and present it to the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) examination board. For the time of the preparation of the task you will work in the department to which the topic of your professional task is related. The topic will have to be authorised by the examination board.

Industrial mechanics manufacture parts and modules for machines and production plants, they assemble them or modify them. They monitor and optimise manufacturing processes and take over repair and maintenance works.

Training as cutting machine operator (m/f/d)
The apprenticeship trade:
Metal-cutting mechanics produce components for machines, engines or turbines, for example. For this purpose, they usually work with CNC-controlled turning, milling and grinding machines. They enter the production parameters into the machines or call up programmes from the machine memory and modify them if necessary. Then they select the tools, clamp metal blanks, align them and start the machines. They monitor the machining processes, remove the finished workpieces and check whether the dimensions and surface quality meet the specifications. In the event of malfunctions, they search for the cause according to specified test procedures and rectify the problem.
The final exam will be an extended exam, i.e. you will take the first partial examination after approx. 1.5 years and the second at the end of the apprenticeship in connection with a project work, which will form the final overall grade.
