Emissivity
The emissivity indicates the ratio of the emitted radiation of a real radiator to the emitted radiation of an ideal black body radiator. The degree of emissivity depends on the object temperature, the material, the surface properties, the radiation angle and the wavelength of the radiation.
The emissivity must be set on a pyrometer to correct the measured value.
